A newsletter for people wanting a delightfully simple way to feel good.
“Jennifer is a breath of fresh air in this diet-centric culture.” - Rebecca F
Hello. I’m Jennifer Dene.
As a tired mother of two insatiable boys, I know a thing or two about the challenges of healthy living. As a certified health coach, (ex-Hollywood) trainer, and lifestyle journalist, I’m also well-versed in what to do about it…
And it’s not what you think.
From seeking beauty in the mundane to practising radical self-compassion during our more fallible moments, we’re here to explore the ideas, conversations and small daily rituals that fundamentally improve our sense of self and health.
Each week I send out personal essays, curiosities and occasional, low-key tools to create a more grounded, creative and manageable (ha?!) life. We’ll dabble in wellbeing, philosophy, motherhood, and the inertia of it all…
Create beautiful spaces for beautiful moments…
And use the power of personal narrative to get reacquainted with who we are when we’re not being everything else.
Mostly, I write as someone who has tried it all, to say that you don’t have to.
Join hundreds of people in our community who are swapping discipline for imperfect action.

Some Random Facts:
I’m a creative writer and freelance journalist. My work has been featured in Women’s Health, Pilates Style, CondeNaste Brides, Prevention Magazine, and more.
As a Pilates trainer and health coach, I’ve worked with celebrities, professional athletes, and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.
Before all that, I spent a decade battling eating disorders (all of them), body dysmorphia and debilitating self-doubt. When mainstream advice and “willpower” didn’t help I turned to creativity and connection to write an alternate story.
My family and I have lived in four different cities, four different states, and two different countries in the past six years. To say we have jet lag is an understatement.
We now live in Australia where I enjoy moving around the furniture and trying not to kill our indoor plants.
See you in the articles,
